The Model 111x is loose and turns nice. Does the 111x have a beater or agitator on the drive side of the hopper to stir the stuff up? Show in the 2nd picture.

I think the "setup" would be about the same for your buhr mill. He would start by anchoring the saw to the ground. This was done by driving wooden stakes into the ground at all four corners of the frame the saw was mounted on. The tractor was positioned on the side opposite the saw's operating side.

It has model number A163 in the burr cover. Also the U-shaped piece that helps hold the burr cover and the center shaft in place has the casting number A161. Tonight I was out looking at a flair box wagon shell for sale when I stumbled across a letz burr mill sitting in the weeds. What was unique to me about this mill is that it had a power feed table with fodder cutter that was hooked into the into the back side of the feeder housing. IF anyone has any information on it I would appriciate it. Thanks.
By far, the 2 1/2hp Economy ran it the best. It is my belief that it was the correct engine speed along with right pulley size on the engine to power the mill. I could fill a 5 gal bucket of cracked corn in ~10 minutes. The 4hp Appleton would do a little better time wise, but the mill was running faster than I wanted.
